My book of the month is this excellent booklet by Deal resident and occupational therapist Justine Norris, who works for Kent & Medway Social Care Partnership.
It includes top tips on diet, exercise, routine and social interaction, as well as checklists, space for diary entries and signposting to other sources of support for mental health and wellbeing during self-isolation.
I have been so proud of how our community has swung into action to look out for each other. It’s really important that people know there is support out there for them.
That’s why I recommend downloading and using this free booklet – which is full of great ideas.
The Social Care Partnership is there for urgent mental health support, advice and guidance – call them on 0300 222 0123.
And there are also our lovely Super-Neighbours working with Talk It Out.
You may be at home but you are not alone – this work is an inspiration and a guide.
