Encouraging women to attend their cervical screening

I am encouraging women to get behind the NHS new Help Us Help You – Cervical Screening campaign and get screened for cervical cancer.

The campaign is targeted at women between the ages of 25-64 who are invited for their cervical screening, and those who may have missed their last appointment during the pandemic.

Two women die every day from cervical cancer but it’s one of the most preventable cancers.

Cervical Screening is incredibly important for women. Screening saves lives.

Please do take up your cervical cancer screening appointment when offered and encourage those you love to get screened if they are overdue a test. Too many women die from cervical cancer- which is a preventable cancer, so let’s keep taking all steps to look after ourselves and those we love.
