I joined revellers at the Deal Arts Festival family day events at Walmer Green. The events included live music, colouring in, kites and much more besides. The family day was part of the festival which runs from 1st July to 17th July across Deal and Walmer, returning in full force after the Covid pandemic. It was brilliant to see so many people enjoying the Deal festival this weekend. After such a challenging couple of years with Covid, there is a special joy in everyone coming together this year in our community.
